It was designed to provide long-range, high-velocity firepower against enemy armored vehicles and fortifications. One of the most notable conflicts where the Nashorn saw action was on the Eastern Front during Operation Barbarossa.

During Operation Barbarossa, the German invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941, the Nashorn played a critical role in the early stages of the campaign. Its potent 88mm PaK 43 gun could easily penetrate the armor of Soviet tanks, including the formidable T-34. This made the Nashorn a valuable asset for the German army as they advanced deep into Soviet territory.

Later in the war, the Nashorn was also used on the Western Front, where it continued to prove its effectiveness as a tank destroyer. Its powerful gun allowed it to engage and destroy Allied tanks and armored vehicles, making it a formidable opponent.

Now, you can own a meticulously detailed 1:72 scale model of the Sd.Kfz.164 Hornisse in its distinctive Tri-Color Camouflage.
