Keep decoder wiring organized with the NCE 524-242 locomotive wiring kit. It brings together eight colors of ultra-flexible wire and a heat-shrink assortment for N- and HO-scale locomotive installations.
Features and package contents
- Eighty feet of wire in total: ten feet in each of eight colors.
- Manufacturer-listed 30/32 AWG ultra-flex wire.
- Heat-shrink tubing supplied in three sizes.
- A wiring-material kit, not a decoder or a prewired locomotive.
Compatibility and installation
Cut and prepare the wire for the installation, then insulate completed joints with appropriately sized tubing. Soldering equipment, a suitable heat source, decoder and locomotive are required separately. Match each connection to the decoder manufacturer’s wiring instructions. This discontinued kit remains a distinct product and is not substituted with a newer part.
