Forces of Valor Tomcat WJ-831111: What Comes with Enterprise Section K?

USS Enterprise deck section K supplied in Forces of Valor WJ-831111; aircraft not shown

WJ-831111 includes one VF-142 Ghostriders Tomcat and section K of the USS Enterprise CVN-65 display deck—not an entire aircraft carrier. Choose it as a compact aircraft-and-deck scene or as this specific section of a larger collecting project.

Read the package as two named components

The offer belongs to Forces of Valor's Legendary F-14 Tomcat series and is labeled 1:200. Its aircraft is identified as an F-14B in VF-142 Ghostriders markings; the accompanying deck piece is specifically section K.

The section letter matters when collecting the series. Ordering another K does not supply a missing adjacent section. Keep the WJ-831111 code and K designation in your notes rather than relying on a photograph of a Tomcat on a carrier deck.

The 13-section concept is not a 13-piece purchase

The product description explains that sections from the series connect to make the Enterprise deck display, with 13 sections needed to complete it. That describes the larger project, not the contents of this one order.

The other sections' availability at Muncle Mikes is not established by this offer. Buy K because you want the supplied scene, or first confirm a sourcing plan for every missing section before committing to completion. There is no promise here of a complete ship hull, all carrier aircraft or separately supplied deck vehicles.

Moving wings, but not an opening cockpit

The aircraft combines diecast metal with plastic components and lists movable wings under its retractable-wing feature. This supports a change in the Tomcat's wing presentation.

The same listing says there are no opening panels. These statements are not contradictory: moving wings and opening a canopy or body panel are different functions. Do not select this model expecting the cockpit access or detachable gear described for some larger Tomcats.

Measure the deck as well as the aircraft

The store gives approximate aircraft dimensions of 4 inches long with a 3-inch span. Those figures do not describe the whole aircraft-and-deck footprint. Section K needs its own space, and an expanded multi-section display needs considerably more.

For a small shelf, confirm the actual section dimensions and its intended orientation. For an enclosed display, allow height for the aircraft and anything already formed into the base. The scale ratio alone cannot determine the finished scene's envelope.

Choose the correct scale for neighboring models

A 1:72 Tomcat is not a proportionally suitable aircraft for this 1:200 deck. Mixing them would create a size mismatch even though both are Tomcats. The section is also not advertised as a connector for Runway24's rubber runway pieces.

Choose WJ-831111 for the compact Ghostriders-and-Enterprise scene it actually supplies, then compare other aircraft formats in the Grumman Scale Models collection.
