Johnny Lightning Japanese Cars: Nissan Z, Toyota MR2 and RX-7 Options

Choose the green 300ZX for its documented opening hood, the ADVAN 350Z for its graphics and included display box, or the white MR2 for a compact Toyota subject. Mazda RX-7 options in the collection also appear inside specific six-car assortments, so package size is part of this buying decision.

1984 Nissan 300ZX: an individually available Classic Gold car
The Dark Green 300ZX with black stripes is item JLCG029-JLSP243B. Its description specifies an opening hood with engine detail, rubber tires, diecast metal body and chassis, and an approximate 2.75-inch length.
This single is a focused starting point for a Nissan Z shelf. It does not list a collectible tin, even though other 300ZX releases are offered in a tin assortment. The vehicle name alone does not transfer accessories between packages.
2004 Nissan 350Z: graphics and presentation
The ADVAN Yokohama 350Z, JLCP7241, is identified as a Johnny Lightning 50th Anniversary release. The listing includes a display box, rubber tires and an approximate 2.75-inch model length.
Select it when the decorated 350Z and its presentation are the attraction. A display box is not necessarily the same accessory as a metal storage tin or a specified acrylic case. Check the package images and inclusions rather than treating those terms as synonyms.
ADVAN and Yokohama decoration also does not, by itself, document a particular race result or prove that the miniature represents one exact competition entry. No such history is needed to enjoy the model's graphics.
1991 Toyota MR2: choose the exact Hobby Exclusive
The white MR2 with stripes, JLSP440, is the Hobby Exclusive offer in this comparison. Its listing specifies rubber tires, diecast metal body and chassis, no opening panels and an approximate 2.5-inch length.
Do not confuse it with a different MR2 release because both have similar colors or exclusive wording. The current JLSP440 offer does not establish a supplied display case. An accessory included with another item's code should not become an assumed part of this purchase.
Mazda RX-7: check the assortment before buying
Classic Gold 2025 Release 2, JLCG037, advertises 1985 RX-7 versions in Tender Blue Metallic and Custom Silver Metallic. The other four cars are paired Javelin and Ford Ranger versions.
For a different RX-7 subject, Classic Gold 2022 Release 2 Set B advertises a 1982 RX-7 in Sunrise Red with black stripes alongside a green 300ZX and four American vehicles. These links are full-assortment offers, not promises of separately available RX-7 singles.
Build the shelf around a clear preference
A Nissan-only shelf points toward the two Z singles. A mixed Japanese-car shelf could start with the 300ZX and MR2, while an RX-7 buyer should assess whether the rest of the selected assortment is worthwhile. Matching 1:64 labels do not guarantee identical physical size, and Japanese-brand identity alone does not establish right-hand drive or a specific domestic-market specification.
