2021 Honda Civic Type R (FK8) RHD Polished Metal Gray Metallic – AUTOart 1:18: Scale, Subject & Display Guide
Rather than repeating the catalog description for 2021 Honda Civic Type R (FK8) RHD Polished Metal Gray Metallic – AUTOart 1:18, this guide turns the scale model cars listing into a decision record. It explains how the AUTOart item is identified, how the available evidence should be read, and where confirmation is still required.

Identity should be established in layers: title first, then vendor, then SKU, then the photographed details. The scale marker 1:18 is part of the exact identity and should be matched before purchase. The year 2021 belongs to the listing identity; it should not automatically be treated as the manufacturing date of the item. For this record, F977-73221 is the compact reference that can be checked against invoices and packaging.
Evidence taken from the live record
The live record provides the following product-specific information: “2021 Honda Civic Type R (FK8) RHD Polished Metal Gray Metallic by AUTOart. This 1:18 scale collector model is intended for collector display. Review the listing photos for the exact finish, trim, wheels and packaging. Item: 73221.” The wording is treated as a source excerpt, not as a substitute for independent fit, scale or condition checks.
What matters for this kind of product
For a diecast or scale collectible, the subject name alone is insufficient. Compare body casting, finish, graphics, wheel design, interior, base markings and packaging format. On 2021 Honda Civic Type R (FK8) RHD Polished Metal Gray Metallic – AUTOart 1:18, the exact photo set and SKU F977-73221 are the reference pair; a model with the same vehicle name but a different wheel, road number or package is a different release.
Condition language must also match the format. A loose item is judged from the photographed surfaces and axles, while a packaged item adds card, blister, box and seal condition. A finished custom should be assessed for workmanship and disclosed modifications; a build kit should be assessed for included parts and fitment rather than as a completed collectible.
Using the item with confidence
When comparing another example, line up the images in the same order and inspect one feature at a time: front view, side graphics, rear treatment, wheel pattern, roof or hood markings, base text and package. A difference in any of those areas can indicate a variation rather than an error.
For display, choose storage that supports the item without pressing on mirrors, spoilers, blister edges or axles. For a build, dry-fit wheels and moving parts before paint or permanent adhesive. The product format determines which of those checks applies.
What to inspect in the product images
Review all 3 available images in sequence rather than judging the item from the first thumbnail. Front, side, reverse, package and detail views answer different questions. The record is strongest when those views agree with the title and SKU F977-73221.

The collection record worth keeping
Catalog the item under the complete title and F977-73221, then add the date received and the condition actually observed. For a project item, note where it was installed or how it was used. For a collectible, note package and display condition separately.
Retaining the exact identifiers protects the record when product titles or availability later change.
Gift considerations
For gifting, the product image can verify the visual subject while the SKU F977-73221 verifies the release. Both checks matter when the recipient collects small variations.

Verification worksheet for this listing
Use F977-73221 as the checkpoint for 2021 Honda Civic Type R (FK8) RHD Polished Metal Gray Metallic – AUTOart 1:18. Confirm the vendor name AUTOart, the product type Scale Model Cars, the selected variant and the photographed item before checkout. If a required size, scale, material, interface or included component is absent from the live record, write it down as unresolved and obtain the answer from the current instructions or manufacturer source.
After delivery, add a dated photograph and a brief result note. A builder can record fit, materials and finishing choices; a collector can record package and item condition; a user can record compatibility and care. Those details make the record genuinely product-specific while preventing a later observation from being confused with a factory specification.
