Ford Mustang GTD Shadow Black/Red – Top Speed 1:18: Scale, Subject & Display Guide
This page is devoted to Ford Mustang GTD Shadow Black/Red – Top Speed 1:18, the exact scale model cars sold under the Top Speed record. The goal is practical identification: what the listing confirms, what remains unverified, and what a buyer or builder should compare before using the item.
Product identity without guesswork
- Exact product: Ford Mustang GTD Shadow Black/Red – Top Speed 1:18
- Brand or vendor: Top Speed
- Product type: Scale Model Cars
- SKU or catalog key: F977-TS0673
- Scale stated in the record: 1:18
- Variants reviewed: 1
- Product images indexed: 3
The recorded price at verification was $193.39 before shipping and tax. At least one variant was orderable when the record was checked.
The scale marker 1:18 is part of the exact identity and should be matched before purchase. The working catalog key is F977-TS0673. That key should travel with the saved URL and product image so a later comparison does not collapse this item into another scale model cars listing.
The verified description in context
The product page identifies the item this way: “Ford Mustang GTD in Shadow Black with red stripe by Top Speed. This 1:18 scale collector model is intended for display. Review the listing photos for the exact body treatment, wheels, trim and packaging. Item: TS0673.” That excerpt anchors the guide, while the gallery, SKU and selected variant provide the remaining evidence needed for an exact match.
The category-specific decision
Collectors should read Ford Mustang GTD Shadow Black/Red – Top Speed 1:18 as a combination of casting, finish, release details and presentation. The useful comparison is not “same brand” but “same exact configuration.” Check the images for tampo placement, paint edges, wheel style, glass, base, stance and any included packaging before using another listing as a reference.
The SKU F977-TS0673 is especially important when the title contains a real-car year or model name. That year can describe the subject rather than the miniature’s release date, and two editions can share the same subject while differing in graphics, color or production series.
The details to verify next
Similar diecast products often differ in small, high-value details. Review the wheel spokes, tire profile, base color, glazing, interior, license or race markings and package code. The aim is not to assign a grade from a distance but to confirm that the delivered item matches the release purchased.
Display and handling should follow the format: loose models need nonabrasive separation, packages need edge and blister protection, and project cars need a documented baseline before disassembly.
Why the exact photo set matters
The gallery contains 3 indexed product images. Compare label text, package shape, visible contents, finish and any small identifying marks with the delivered item. A context image can show tools or related products that are not included, so the written record and selected option still control package contents.
The short decision checklist
- Match the full title and F977-TS0673.
- Confirm the selected variant and displayed quantity.
- Review the exact image set for the distinguishing details named above.
- Resolve every missing fit, scale, material or compatibility point from current instructions.
- Check live price and availability immediately before ordering.

A final exact-item review
For Ford Mustang GTD Shadow Black/Red – Top Speed 1:18, finish the decision by reading the title, product type and SKU as one identity. The vendor is Top Speed, the listed product type is Scale Model Cars, and the working SKU is F977-TS0673. Save those fields together rather than relying on a thumbnail or shortened name. Then compare the received item with the listing image before it is opened, assembled, modified or placed in a collection.
Record anything that affects this exact item: selected option, package condition, quantity received, fit result, installation notes or visible variation. That observation belongs to this product record and should not be generalized to every related release. Keeping the original evidence and the later ownership notes separate makes the article useful for repeat orders, repairs, collection audits and accurate identification.
