The complete title is meaningful here, not decorative. The scale marker 1:18 is part of the exact identity and should be matched before purchase. The year 2022 belongs to the listing identity; it should not automatically be treated as the manufacturing date of the item. The number 42 separates this release from visually similar versions. Keep F977-TS0491 with the product record because abbreviated names often omit the detail that distinguishes one version from another.
Evidence taken from the live record
The source description says: “Ford Puma Rally1 #42 driven by Craig Breen and Paul Nagle for M-Sport Ford WRT to second place at Rally Italia Sardegna in 2022 by Top Speed. This 1:18 scale rally model is intended for collector display. Review the listing photos for the exact livery, wheels and packaging. Item: TS0491.” This is useful evidence, but it is not expanded beyond what the listing supports. Missing dimensions, materials, compatibility claims or package contents remain open questions.
How to evaluate this product type
The most useful way to evaluate 2022 Ford Puma Rally1 #42 Breen/Nagle Sardegna 2nd – Top Speed 1:18 is to separate identity from condition. Identity comes from the subject, scale or casting, finish, graphics, wheels and SKU. Condition comes from the actual photographed surfaces, packaging and moving parts. Mixing those two questions can lead to a correct model being described with the wrong condition.
For this listing, F977-TS0491 should be saved with the gallery. That preserves the release-level evidence even if similar editions later appear under shortened titles.
Where similar listings differ
When comparing another example, line up the images in the same order and inspect one feature at a time: front view, side graphics, rear treatment, wheel pattern, roof or hood markings, base text and package. A difference in any of those areas can indicate a variation rather than an error.
For display, choose storage that supports the item without pressing on mirrors, spoilers, blister edges or axles. For a build, dry-fit wheels and moving parts before paint or permanent adhesive. The product format determines which of those checks applies.
Using the gallery as evidence
The gallery contains 3 indexed product images. Compare label text, package shape, visible contents, finish and any small identifying marks with the delivered item. A context image can show tools or related products that are not included, so the written record and selected option still control package contents.
Pre-purchase checklist for this exact record

Decision record for future reference
The final purchase record for 2022 Ford Puma Rally1 #42 Breen/Nagle Sardegna 2nd – Top Speed 1:18 should contain the vendor Top Speed, product type Scale Model Cars, SKU F977-TS0491, selected option, current price and the image used to verify the item.
