A correct match requires more than recognizing the brand. The scale marker 1:72 is part of the exact identity and should be matched before purchase. The year 1997 belongs to the listing identity; it should not automatically be treated as the manufacturing date of the item. The SKU F977-AV72-41009 provides the most efficient cross-check when another listing uses slightly different punctuation or wording.
Evidence taken from the live record
The source description says: “Saab J35J Draken in Swedish Air Force Squadron 10 Wing final-flight livery from 1997 by Aviation 72. This 1:72 scale diecast aircraft model is intended for collector display. Review the listing photos for the exact markings, landing gear and packaging. Item: AV72-41009.” This is useful evidence, but it is not expanded beyond what the listing supports. Missing dimensions, materials, compatibility claims or package contents remain open questions.
Practical use and compatibility
For a diecast or scale collectible, the subject name alone is insufficient. Compare body casting, finish, graphics, wheel design, interior, base markings and packaging format. On 1997 Saab J35J Draken Final Flight – Aviation 72 1:72, the exact photo set and SKU F977-AV72-41009 are the reference pair; a model with the same vehicle name but a different wheel, road number or package is a different release.
Condition language must also match the format. A loose item is judged from the photographed surfaces and axles, while a packaged item adds card, blister, box and seal condition. A finished custom should be assessed for workmanship and disclosed modifications; a build kit should be assessed for included parts and fitment rather than as a completed collectible.
Second-pass inspection
When comparing another example, line up the images in the same order and inspect one feature at a time: front view, side graphics, rear treatment, wheel pattern, roof or hood markings, base text and package. A difference in any of those areas can indicate a variation rather than an error.
For display, choose storage that supports the item without pressing on mirrors, spoilers, blister edges or axles. For a build, dry-fit wheels and moving parts before paint or permanent adhesive. The product format determines which of those checks applies.
The photographed item is part of the specification
The gallery contains 3 indexed product images. Compare label text, package shape, visible contents, finish and any small identifying marks with the delivered item. A context image can show tools or related products that are not included, so the written record and selected option still control package contents.

Completing the evidence trail
To close the record for 1997 Saab J35J Draken Final Flight – Aviation 72 1:72, pair SKU F977-AV72-41009 with the live image and the stated vendor, Aviation 72. The listing classifies it as Scale Model Aircraft. Those details should agree before another product is treated as an equivalent option.
