Vallejo Game Color Desert Yellow 18 ml: Scale, Subject & Display Guide

This item is best cataloged under its full name and VLJ72063. The year 2063 belongs to the listing identity; it should not automatically be treated as the manufacturing date of the item. That combination protects against accidental substitutions when related products share a subject, color, scale or series.

The verified description in context

Current catalog evidence can be summarized as follows: “Vallejo Game Color Desert Yellow 18 ml is the exact Vallejo acrylic hobby paint identified by manufacturer part number 72063. The product photo shows the item being offered, so collectors and builders can match the bottle, label, and color family before ordering. Manufacturer details Acrylic colors in a matte and opaque, water-based formula, especially designed for brush-on use. Each color has been meticulously developed in collaboration with model-painters who specialize in fantasy figures and dioramas. The formulation of these colors has been developed taking into account that some of these figures are used in tabletop games, so that Game Color is manufactured with a revolutionary new resin which offers extraordinary resistance to the damage caused by frequent handling. Comes in 18 ml./0.61 fl. oz. bottle with security seal Eyedropper…” Every additional recommendation in this guide is framed as a check or planning step when the listing itself does not confirm the answer.

Planning around the exact item

The most useful way to evaluate Vallejo Game Color Desert Yellow 18 ml is to separate identity from condition. Identity comes from the subject, scale or casting, finish, graphics, wheels and SKU. Condition comes from the actual photographed surfaces, packaging and moving parts. Mixing those two questions can lead to a correct model being described with the wrong condition.

For this listing, VLJ72063 should be saved with the gallery. That preserves the release-level evidence even if similar editions later appear under shortened titles.

Using the item with confidence

When comparing another example, line up the images in the same order and inspect one feature at a time: front view, side graphics, rear treatment, wheel pattern, roof or hood markings, base text and package. A difference in any of those areas can indicate a variation rather than an error.

For display, choose storage that supports the item without pressing on mirrors, spoilers, blister edges or axles. For a build, dry-fit wheels and moving parts before paint or permanent adhesive. The product format determines which of those checks applies.

Image-by-image verification

1 product image were available to the catalog at verification. Use them as item-level evidence: zoom in on the SKU, graphics, edges, connectors, part arrangement or package callouts relevant to this hobby paint & finishing. Do not substitute a generic manufacturer image when the exact listing supplies a more specific view.

Decision record for future reference

The final purchase record for Vallejo Game Color Desert Yellow 18 ml should contain the vendor Vallejo, product type Hobby Paint & Finishing, SKU VLJ72063, selected option, current price and the image used to verify the item. This set of evidence is more durable than a title alone and makes a later duplicate or replacement check much faster.

After arrival, compare the item with that evidence before discarding packaging or beginning work. Note any discrepancy, then record actual fit, condition or performance only after direct inspection. The resulting trail explains both the original offer and the owner’s later experience while keeping the article accurate, specific and reviewable.
