Yamaha YZ450F #3 Eli Tomac Championship Edition – New Ray 1:12: Scale, Subject & Display Guide

Yamaha YZ450F #3 Eli Tomac Championship Edition – New Ray 1:12 is the specific scale model motorcycles represented by this listing from New Ray. This guide interprets the exact record—its title, SKU, photographed item, variant state and catalog context—rather than stretching a generic category article over the product.

The scale marker 1:12 is part of the exact identity and should be matched before purchase. The number 3 separates this release from visually similar versions. The working catalog key is F977-58323. That key should travel with the saved URL and product image so a later comparison does not collapse this item into another scale model motorcycles listing.

The verified description in context

The live record provides the following product-specific information: “Yamaha YZ450F Championship Edition motorcycle #3 ridden by Eli Tomac in Yamaha Factory Racing graphics by New Ray. This 1:12 scale diecast motorcycle is intended for collector display. Review the listing photos for the exact race graphics, wheels and packaging. Item: 58323.” The wording is treated as a source excerpt, not as a substitute for independent fit, scale or condition checks.

The category-specific decision

For a diecast or scale collectible, the subject name alone is insufficient. Compare body casting, finish, graphics, wheel design, interior, base markings and packaging format. On Yamaha YZ450F #3 Eli Tomac Championship Edition – New Ray 1:12, the exact photo set and SKU F977-58323 are the reference pair; a model with the same vehicle name but a different wheel, road number or package is a different release.

Condition language must also match the format. A loose item is judged from the photographed surfaces and axles, while a packaged item adds card, blister, box and seal condition. A finished custom should be assessed for workmanship and disclosed modifications; a build kit should be assessed for included parts and fitment rather than as a completed collectible.

A closer project or collection check

When comparing another example, line up the images in the same order and inspect one feature at a time: front view, side graphics, rear treatment, wheel pattern, roof or hood markings, base text and package. A difference in any of those areas can indicate a variation rather than an error.

For display, choose storage that supports the item without pressing on mirrors, spoilers, blister edges or axles. For a build, dry-fit wheels and moving parts before paint or permanent adhesive. The product format determines which of those checks applies.

Image-by-image verification

The gallery contains 1 indexed product image. Compare label text, package shape, visible contents, finish and any small identifying marks with the delivered item. A context image can show tools or related products that are not included, so the written record and selected option still control package contents.

Recording this product accurately

After purchase, store the acquisition date, price, seller, SKU F977-58323, selected option and one clear image with the project or collection record. Add notes about fit, assembly, condition or performance only after they are observed on this exact item.

This separates verified ownership evidence from later opinion and makes a replacement or repeat purchase much easier.

Gift considerations

For gifting, the product image can verify the visual subject while the SKU F977-58323 verifies the release. Both checks matter when the recipient collects small variations.

Why the complete record should be retained

Yamaha YZ450F #3 Eli Tomac Championship Edition – New Ray 1:12 is filed as a Scale Model Motorcycles from New Ray. Its compact reference is F977-58323. Preserve the product URL, one clear image, the selected option and the receipt with those identifiers. A related item may look nearly identical while differing in quantity, scale, color, road number, hardware, package or compatibility.

The most reliable ownership note separates three stages: what the seller stated, what arrived, and what happened when the item was used or displayed. That structure supports later troubleshooting and replacement without adding unsupported claims to the original listing. It also makes the article auditable because every conclusion remains tied to the exact product instead of the surrounding category.
