Choose the model's display configuration before assuming you can change it after purchase. A stand can hold an aircraft above the shelf while its landing gear remains attached. Flaps-down wings describe another feature entirely; they do not automatically add retractable gear or a working flight mechanism.

The practical question is whether you want an airport-style grounded model, an elevated aircraft presentation, or a specific configuration such as flaps down. Then check what the exact release supports.

Compare Airbus display configurations

A stand does not mean the landing gear retracts

The Garuda A330-900 gallery shows the aircraft on a stand with landing gear visible. That is a valid elevated collector display, but it is not evidence of a gear-up configuration.

The product description confirms stand inclusion, not a working retraction mechanism. Do not push the wheels into the fuselage or remove assemblies unless the model's instructions explicitly permit it.

For a clean gear-up pose, confirm removable gear and any required closed-gear pieces for the exact release before buying. Where the listing does not answer that question, the feature remains unconfirmed.

A grounded scene needs its own checks

The Hawaiian A321neo GJHAL2415 is photographed with landing gear and does not include a stand. It is a candidate for a small aircraft display, with its intended support and handling checked against the supplied guidance.

Visible wheels do not establish rolling wheels, steerable nose gear or suitability for repeated play. A collectible posed at a gate is different from a toy designed to be pushed around.

Flap position is a separate buying choice

Choose the F version when the extended-wing-surface presentation is part of the scene. Do not interpret the separate variants as a promise that the flaps can be moved manually between positions.

A display intended to evoke an operating moment should make aircraft, wing and gear choices consistently. The model alone does not identify a particular real flight or airport event.

Write down the pose you actually need
