Which First Gear Refuse Bins Fit? 1:34 Metal Bins vs. Plastic Cart Sets

The 1:34 metal bins linked here are specified for First Gear 1:34 Mack TerraPro front loaders. The six-pack plastic carts are a different product and do not carry that same confirmed fit statement. Choose by the exact truck, loading system and scale—not by matching the bin color to the vehicle.

Single metal bins: three colors, one documented use

The black bin, 90-0533, brown bin, 90-0535, and green bin, 90-0593, are individual 1:34 diecast-metal accessories with split-top opening lids.

Each is approximately 2 inches wide, 1.5 inches deep and 1.75 inches high. The listed compatibility is with 1:34 Mack TerraPro front loaders. That is narrower and more useful than saying they fit every First Gear garbage truck.

Choose one color for a specific scene or multiple separately sold bins for a larger collection. A photograph of a bin beside its package is not an extra included bin, and the three color listings do not form a combined set.

Six-pack carts: different material and quantity

The blue cart set, 90-0518, and green cart set, 90-0519, each contain six plastic bins with opening lids. Each bin is approximately 1.5 inches high.

Choose these for a row of smaller containers in a 1:34 scene. They are not six metal front-loader dumpsters, and the larger quantity does not mean the same type of accessory is being offered at a different package price.

The checked descriptions do not establish working compatibility with a particular lifting arm. Use them as scenery unless the exact truck and cart connection have been confirmed. A removable-looking or graspable shape in a photograph is not enough to promise functional fit.

Why they are not automatically right for the 1:64 Mack LR

The 1:64 Mack LR front loader, 60-1796D, includes its own bin. That is the clearer starting point for a buyer who wants a documented truck-and-bin offer in that scale.

The larger 1:34 metal bins are a different proportional size and are listed for a different named truck. Waste Management green on both products does not make them a matching mechanical pair. Do not force forks or attachment points to accommodate an oversized accessory.

Why matching 1:34 still does not fit a roll-off truck

The 1:34 Peterbilt 567 roll-off, FG10-4395D, carries a large roll-off container. It uses a different represented loading arrangement from a front loader handling a smaller split-lid bin.

The shared scale can make separate items look proportionate beside one another, but it does not turn the metal bin into a compatible replacement roll-off container. Scenery compatibility and attachment compatibility are separate questions.

Make the fit check before ordering

Read the scale and exact model name on the truck already owned. Confirm whether you need a working attachment, a replacement for the original accessory or simply a bin for the surrounding scene. For a working pair, compare the manufacturer's stated compatibility and the actual connection dimensions.

Choose the single metal bin for the documented TerraPro front-loader use, the plastic six-pack for small-container scenery, or the 1:64 Mack LR combination when starting with a truck and its included bin. Compare current availability after selecting the correct product type, material and quantity.
