Choose a GreenLight Ford Bronco by its represented year, body style and purpose in your collection. A themed 1967 Bronco, a 1993 XLT and a modern four-door Badlands are not interchangeable simply because each listing says “Bronco.” Scale and included accessories add another layer to the decision.

This guide compares four individual releases and one assortment option. It is a buying guide to selected models in our catalog, not a complete history or checklist of every Bronco produced by GreenLight.

Match the exact listing to the vehicle you intend to collect. A color, trim name or screen association can be as important as the model year when selecting a particular release.

1967 Smokey Bear Forest Ranger: a themed classic

The 1967 Smokey Bear Forest Ranger Bronco, 19143, combines green and cream paint with white stripes in GreenLight’s Artisan Collection. It is a 1:18 model with a removable top and an opening rear gate listed among its features.

Its approximate listed size is 8.5 × 4.5 × 4 inches. Consider it when the themed decoration is the reason for the purchase, rather than treating it as a neutral paint version of every early Bronco. The release’s packaging and graphics are part of its identity.

The listing does not establish every panel as opening. A removable roof and an opening rear gate should not be rewritten as opening hood and doors unless those features are separately verified.

1993 Bronco XLT: a different body and footprint

The Oxford White 1993 Bronco XLT, 19086, is also an Artisan Collection 1:18 model, but its approximate listed dimensions are 10.75 × 5.25 × 3.75 inches. It needs a different display allowance from the 1967 release.

Its listing specifies a removable top, opening doors and rear gate, and positionable wheels. Those are useful distinctions for someone who likes arranging a model in more than one pose.

Choose it for the listed 1993 XLT vehicle and white finish. Do not assign a celebrity, film or historical-event association to a plain vehicle listing simply because a similar real Bronco is familiar.

The Lost Bronco: choose it as a television collectible

The 1970 Lost Bronco, 84201, is listed in gold metallic with a brown hood and top. It belongs to Hollywood Series 20 and represents the television-associated release, rather than a generic gold Bronco.

The product description lists a removable top, rubber tires, diecast construction with plastic components, and approximate dimensions of 6.5 × 3.25 × 3 inches. That makes it a different size proposition from either 1:18 Artisan example.

2021 Badlands: a modern Bronco with a complete transport scene

The 2021 Bronco Badlands Hitch & Tow set, 32330D, is a Cactus Gray four-door 1:64 release with a black top. It includes the Bronco, a motorcycle and a utility trailer—not just the tow vehicle.

The listing identifies a working trailer ramp and a jack for displaying the trailer separately. Approximate component lengths are 3.125 inches for the Bronco, 1.5 inches for the motorcycle and 2.5 inches for the trailer. Leave additional clearance for the hitch and lowered ramp.

This is the choice to examine when you want several related pieces in one scene. It is not a substitute for a large standalone Bronco, and the package contents should not be compared directly with the price of a single vehicle. See our Hitch & Tow guide for other combinations.

Bronco vs. Bronco Sport: read the full name

The All Terrain Series 17 six-vehicle assortment includes a black 2022 Bronco Sport Badlands. That is not the same listed vehicle as the four-door Bronco in the Hitch & Tow set.

The assortment also includes Jeep, International and truck models. Buy it because you want the mixed lineup—not on the assumption that it contains six Broncos or that the Bronco Sport can be selected instead of the full set. The listing allows a possible chase substitution but does not guarantee one.

Before buying a Bronco as a gift

Try to identify the recipient’s preferred year, body style and color. “They like Broncos” is a useful starting point, but a collector focused on a 1990s XLT may not be looking for a modern motorcycle-trailer set.

Then check display space, opening features, package contents and current availability. For an exact match to an owned real vehicle, compare the photographs and trim rather than assuming every Bronco casting reproduces the same specification.
