GT Spirit GT1 Models: Nissan R390 Le Mans #33 or Mercedes CLK GTR Roadster?

Choose the Nissan R390 GT1 GT1003 when you want the specific #33 NISMO Le Mans 1998 subject; choose Mercedes CLK GTR Roadster GT960 when you want the gray roadster. Do not treat these as two interchangeable race-entry models. The Mercedes offer is explicitly a Roadster, while the Nissan title identifies an event, number and drivers.
Both are completed 1:18 resin models with no opening parts. Their collecting appeal comes from different subjects and presentations, not different engine-access mechanisms.

Nissan R390 GT1 GT1003: check all the entry identifiers
The R390 GT1, GT1003, is listed as #33 with Satoshi Motoyama, Takuya Kurosawa and Masami Kageyama, NISMO, 24 Hours of Le Mans 1998.
For a race-entry collection, those identifiers are part of what you are buying. Match the number, year and driver names rather than choosing another R390 because its broad color scheme looks familiar.
This guide does not label #33 a winner or a podium car. A result associated with a different entry should not be attached to this model. The number in the title is also not your miniature’s individual production serial number.
Mercedes CLK GTR Roadster GT960: a different display subject
The Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK GTR Roadster, GT960, is listed as the 1999 subject in Gray Metallic.
Choose it for the Roadster presentation and Mercedes identity. The CLK GTR name alone is not sufficient when comparing it with photographs or reviews of closed-roof or racing versions. Keep Roadster and GT960 in the search and order check.
Its open-top subject does not imply a working roof, opening doors or a detachable engine cover. The selected resin model has no openings.
Which supports your collecting plan?
For a 1998 Le Mans lineup, GT1003 provides the specifically identified Nissan entry. For a display of unusual roadsters or Mercedes subjects, GT960 is the direct match.
For a broader GT1-related theme, the two can be considered together, but label their roles accurately. The point of the pair would be the difference between a named race-entry subject and a roadster—not a claim that both raced together in the depicted forms.
Allow for the complete shape
The Nissan is approximately 10 × 4 × 3 inches in its listing. The Mercedes is approximately 9.5 × 4.25 × 3 inches.
The Nissan has more listed length, while the Mercedes has more listed width. That tradeoff matters on a narrow base. These approximate dimensions do not verify a particular acrylic cover or an exact side-by-side arrangement.
What the model descriptions confirm
Both list resin construction, rubber tires and cabin and exterior detailing. Neither is an assembly kit or a model with opening panels. Check the current product photographs for the exact appearance and the product page for price, availability and any included accessories.
