Motormax Gifts for Car Collectors: Choose by Interest, Budget and Space

Red-and-black Motormax 1937 Ford pickup with included Christmas tree, 73233RBIXMT

A good Motormax gift matches the recipient’s vehicle interest and display space before it matches a price bracket. A small replica of their favorite movie car may be more welcome than a larger model of a vehicle they do not collect. Check one specific interest, their preferred scale and whether they enjoy assembly projects.

The prices below are a September 23, 2026 USD item-price snapshot, excluding shipping, taxes and discounts. Product pages show the current offer and availability.

Under $30: compact movie and police subjects

For a Bond-film fan, the 1:64 Diamonds Are Forever Mustang Mach 1, 79824, was $24.64. It includes a plastic showcase and has no opening body panels. Its approximately three-inch car length makes it a compact option, though the case needs its own space.

For a police-vehicle collector, the 1:43 unmarked 2022 Ford Utility, 79496BW, was $26.81 and also includes a showcase. Choose it for the stated unmarked presentation, not as a replica of an unspecified local department.

Under $50: match a favorite classic or collecting style

The red 1955 GMC Blue Chip pickup, 79382r, was $40.59. Its opening hood and doors can suit someone who enjoys displaying classic trucks with the cabin and engine area visible.

For a lowrider collector, the candy-red 1964 Impala Get Low hardtop, 79021r, was $44.38. It has opening hood, doors and trunk. Read the Get Low guide rather than assuming working hydraulics from the series name.

For a seasonal display, the red-and-black 1937 Ford pickup with Christmas tree, 73233RBIXMT, was $44.38. The tree is included in this listing; it should not be assumed on other 1937 pickup releases.

$50–$75: a complete scene or a larger model

The silver C10 and brown camper set, 75330-73355SIL, was $55.45. It suits a truck-and-camping theme, but the camper is plastic and the complete arrangement needs more room than the truck alone. The camper-set guide explains those checks.

The orange 1:18 Gallardo Superleggera, 73181or, was $65.24, with positionable wheels and opening doors and engine compartment. Its approximately ten-inch length is a space commitment worth checking before gifting.

The red-and-white 1:18 Morris Mini Cooper, 73113red, was $68.50. At approximately 7.25 inches long, it shows why vehicle size matters alongside scale. It has steerable wheels and opening hood and doors.

Under $100: a larger emergency-vehicle subject

The red 1:18 Fire Marshal Utility, 73545, was $79.37. Its listed 11 × 5 × 4-inch size suits a recipient with room for a larger emergency-vehicle display. Working lights and sound are not documented for this release.

Avoid a gift that creates an unwanted project

Some Motormax police products are builder’s kits requiring drilling for accessories. That can be a good gift for a willing customizer, but a poor surprise for someone expecting a completed display model. Read the exact installation requirements before selecting a kit.

Also check the recipient’s existing item codes, packaging preference and applicable age guidance. A small collectible or a model with sounds is not automatically suitable for young children.

Finish with the right expectations

Choose the specific vehicle, then check the delivered total and current delivery information for the occasion. This guide does not promise an arrival date or a discount. For an experienced collector, an exact missing release is often a more useful gift than an extra accessory chosen without checking fit.
