Tamiya Mini Cooper Kits: Austin, Morris or Morris Racing?
Tamiya Austin Mini, Morris Mini and Morris Mini Racing are three distinct 1:24 choices. Select the marque and road-versus-racing presentation before choosing a decorative scheme; the short Mini name can hide a different kit.
Austin and Morris road-car choices
Austin 24235 lists engine-bay detail, Union Jack roof and bonnet-stripe decals, and masking stickers. Choose it when those optional graphics are part of the appeal, or plan a simpler scheme using the exact instructions.
Morris 24039 identifies a Morris Mini Cooper 1275S Mk.1 assembly kit. Its refreshed description does not establish every feature attributed to the Austin kit. Do not assume shared masks, roof graphics or detail materials merely because both represent related classic Minis.
Morris Racing changes the project
24130 is the Morris Mini Racing subject. Its record lists green main parts, updated decals with two added car numbers and painting masks. Car-number options decorate one model; they do not supply several complete racing cars.
A racing build places a different emphasis on markings than a road-car shelf, but neither appearance establishes a tested difficulty grade. Molded green or white plastic is not a completed finish, and the detailed Austin and racing records require paint and cement separately. Decide the selected version before cutting decals or attaching parts that may obstruct painting.
