2012 Acura NSX Concept Collector Guide
The NSX Concept’s low nose and swept-back cabin stay recognizable through a long run of colors. Start with the roof and wheels: the first silver and red cars have black roofs and TRAP5 wheels, while later versions use broad stripes, colored wheel rims or a cleaner body with RA6 wheels.

Follow the stripes, then the wheels
The 2013 Asphalt Assault releases introduced the casting in silver and red. Speed Team brought yellow and blue versions in 2015, and a blue car also appeared in a North American International Auto Show presentation. Multipack releases followed in black, white, yellow, blue and satin red. The 2012 in the casting name describes the concept car; it is not the release year of every model shown here.

Choosing one for your collection
A yellow or blue body is only the start of an identification. Compare the top stripe and wheel design before matching a loose car to a release. For the 2015 auto-show edition, keep the presentation and its history with the car: a blue body, silver stripe and G50 base code also occur on the regular release.
The gallery includes a show presentation, a close view through packaging and loose-car photos. Multipack companions are not pictured. A loose model can match the documented finish without proving which package it originally came from.
Collector questions
Why does X6999 appear on several different years and colors?
X6999 is used for multiple multipack releases in this family. It does not identify one color by itself. Match year, paint, decoration and wheels together; the yellow and blue 2022 cars, for example, both use X6999 and RA6 wheels.
