1971 Hemi Cuda Collector Guide
The bright green debut shows the Cuda’s shape with simple black HEMI panels. Later releases add long side stripes, orange flames or a full flag treatment. The bare-metal ZAMAC version is a useful contrast to all that color.

What to look for
The casting has appeared under several package names, including ’70 HEMI Cuda, ’71 Hemi Barracuda and ’71 Plymouth Hemi ’Cuda. Compare the actual casting and toy number instead of relying on the shortened name alone. The 2013 ZAMAC car has a bare metal body and a black plastic base—not an all-metal chassis.

Check the hood scoop, front corners and rear wheel arches. Long side stripes make chips easy to spot when the photograph is sharp.
For the flame cars, compare the glazing as well as the paint: the blue release has yellow-tinted windows, while the dark-red version has clear glazing.
