’76 Ford Gran Torino Collector Guide
The red-and-white Starsky & Hutch Torino is the familiar face here, but the green Collector Edition gives the same long coupe a very different look. One wears a broad white stripe around the cabin; the other has black striping, a large Hot Wheels logo and a small number 5.

The Torino beyond the white stripe
CFR34 is the red 2015 Entertainment release on a Starsky & Hutch card. The 2017 FFY66 Collector Edition changes the paint, graphics and wheels. Put them side by side and the long hood, upright grille and sloping rear roofline tie them together more clearly than their decoration does.

Choosing one for your collection
Start at the pointed front corners and the edges of the long doors when checking a loose Torino. The white stripe on the red car makes chips conspicuous, while the dark green paint can hide them in a poorly lit photo.
Look at the rear wheel openings and the lower body edges from both sides. For carded cars, check the blister corners and the card around the hanger; packaging artwork identifies the edition, but it does not prove the car inside has never been changed.
Collector questions
Are the red and green cars the same release?
No. Red CFR34 is the 2015 Starsky & Hutch Entertainment edition. Green FFY66 is the 2017 Collector Edition, with different graphics and wheels.
