1996 Chevrolet Impala SS Collector Guide
The plain black Impala is easy to appreciate: a long four-door body, restrained trim and a small spoiler at the back. Its other releases range from a white fire-chief car to a number 96 demolition-style version and a teal car with flames. Two black cars can look close in a listing, but their wheels and bases tell different stories.

What to look for
The 2020 Nightburnerz car uses a plastic base and regular five-spoke wheels. The 2023 Boulevard version adds a metal base and Real Riders, along with more complete trim printing. Compare those details before putting a loose black Impala into a specific release slot.

Choosing one for your collection
Look along the long roof, trunk lid and door edges for scratches. A low front view helps reveal bent axles on a car whose body otherwise looks tidy.
The Enforcer version has different colored wheel accents front and rear. That is shown in its release photo, so an uneven color combination is not automatically evidence of a wheel swap.
