Frontrunnin’ FairmontThe white Race Ace release
Race Ace is the white number 13 release of Frontrunnin’ Fairmont. The square roof and long, flat nose give it a very different profile from the rounded stock cars that followed. The original package in the reference photo makes the Race Ace name especially useful when sorting an unboxed example.

The casting guide lists the white Race Ace for 1986 with gold Hot Ones wheels. The carded example shows number 13 in the side decoration, with orange and purple striping. The blister and small photograph limit what can be read on the base.
The earlier red Fairmont
Frontrunnin’ Fairmont appears in the 1982 release list as item 3257, in red with gold Hot Ones wheels. Hong Kong and Malaysia base entries are documented. Those entries explain the casting’s earlier name, but do not establish the base marking on a particular white Race Ace.
Inspect the edges and wheel faces
On a loose Fairmont, look at the roof edges, front corners and wheel openings. A low side view makes axle bends easier to spot than a view from above. Check both sides of the number 13 graphic for rubbing or touch-ups.
Gold on the wheel faces can wear unevenly. Compare all four before deciding that one odd-looking wheel is a factory variation. For a carded car, inspect the blister seal without pressing it against the toy. The loose-car inspection checklist covers additional views.
