Peterbilt Dump TruckIdentifying the 1995 releases
The 1995 Real Riders Peterbilt pairs a bright lime body and dump bed with matching wheel hubs. Its package calls it simply Dump Truck, but the long hood and three-axle layout identify the Peterbilt casting covered here.
Real Riders number 1 of four
Collector #317, item 13304, is the first car in the 1995 Real Riders series. The release record lists bright lime-green paint, black windows, an unpainted Malaysia base, a red-and-white rear Hot Wheels logo and lime Real Riders hubs.
The photograph shows the series package and color-matched hubs. Lighting shifts the body toward yellow in this image; compare finish in even light when assessing another example.
Check the bed before moving it
Inspect the dump-bed edges, hinge area and rear for cracks or missing pieces. Do not force a stiff mechanism. A side photograph leaves the inside and the far edge of the bed unseen.
Look along all three axles for bent ends or tires that sit unevenly. Check the rubber for cracks and ask about replacements before treating clean tires as evidence of an untouched truck.
Keep similar truck names separate
The generic name on the card is not enough to identify every Hot Wheels dump truck. Compare the hood, cab and axle layout with the actual toy, then record its underside.
The 1995 Real Riders Unimog is the companion number 2 release. It has different proportions and wheel details.
