Turbo HeaterHighway Heat and the earlier Turbo releases
The orange car with 500 EX on the doors is Highway Heat, the 1986 release of Turbo Heater. The sloping nose, broad rear spoiler and long rear window tie it to the earlier casting even though the package name changed.
Start with the orange 500 EX car
Highway Heat carries yellow, red and black decoration and gold Hot Ones wheel faces. The 1986 entry lists item 2524, a beige interior and an unpainted Malaysia base. The photograph shows the side lettering and burst on the hood clearly; it does not show the country stamp underneath.
Earlier cars carry Turbo lettering
The 1984 magenta Turbo Heater is item 5911. The metallic-blue release uses 9524 and is listed for 1985. Both wear Turbo decoration rather than the orange car’s 500 EX design. Blackwall and gold Hot Ones wheel entries are documented for the blue car, so paint color alone is not the full identification.
Check the spoiler and the nose
The raised rear corners and low front edge deserve a close look. In the reference photo, wear along the roof and spoiler is visible even though the side graphics remain readable. Ask for a rear view to see whether both spoiler corners are intact.
Look through the side opening to judge the interior color; yellow glazing can change how it looks through the windshield. Keep the underside and both wheel faces in your notes. The loose-car inspection checklist covers the remaining views.
