Twin Mill IIThe 1995 Dark Rider release
The Dark Rider Twin Mill II has a low black canopy and exposed engine details beside the body. Its smooth shape is different from the original Twin Mill, even though both names point to the twin-engine theme.
Number 2 of four
Collector #298, item 13285, is the second Dark Rider release. Its catalog entry lists metallic-black paint, black windows, a red Hot Wheels logo at the rear and a black Malaysia base.
Six-spoke Pro Circuit and seven-spoke versions are listed. Do not use reflections on the wheel face as a substitute for counting the actual pattern in a close photograph.
The engine details need both sides
Ask for both side profiles so the exposed engine and exhaust pieces are visible. Check for broken tips, rubbed plating and glue. A bright engine can pull attention away from chips in the surrounding black paint.
Inspect the canopy under softer light for scratches. The original Twin Mill guide covers the earlier shape and its anniversary reissue, not Twin Mill II.
Read the rear and underside
The red rear logo and base are mostly hidden in this carded side view. Include those areas when documenting a loose example, and keep wheel replacements or other repairs in the condition record.
