Ghostbusters Ecto-1 casting guide

Reading the B50 base code on a Hot Wheels Ecto-1

B50 is a production date code found on the base of some 2010 Ghostbusters Ecto-1 cars. It is not the car’s toy number, series number, or a separate color variation. The 2010 New Models release is identified as R0942; compare its white body, red stripe, door logo, five-spoke wheels and chrome plastic base.

Date codes help record a casting, but they do not replace the release code. Identify a car by the complete combination of body, paint, tampo, wheels and base, using the package as supporting evidence when available.
