About this kit

This model kit recreates the iconic Renault 5 Turbo Rally which was originally released in 1982 as a motorized model kit then later re-issued in 2011 with updated decals and instruction manual. The Renault 5 Turbo was a special version of the inimitable 5, developed for rally races. With a 1.4-liter inline-4 turbo engine in place of the rear seats the Turbo had a midship setup and used lightweight aluminum and plastic panels. The works car won the first global rally of 1981 and was a familiar sight near the top of timesheets thereafter. • 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 156mm, width: 74mm, height: 57mm. • Features realistic depictions of rally car's characteristics such as front spotlights and interior roll cage. • Realistic synthetic rubber tires. • Includes updated decals. • Comes with two figures.
