Kadee 1791 No. 1 Scale Pilot and Tender Coupler Kit

Kadee 1791 combines two different No. 1-scale coupler installations in one kit: a centerset coupler in a pilot pocket and a large-offset coupler with a truck-mount gearbox for the tender.

Features and package contents

• One centerset and one large-offset original-style No. 1 coupler.
• Includes pilot pocket and lid, draft gearbox and lid, stop plate and five screws.
• Three close-coil No. 861 springs, three wide-coil springs, one No. 1875 knuckle spring and four 0.010-inch plastic shims are supplied.

Compatibility and installation

Assembly and fitting are required. Confirm the exact locomotive and mounting geometry against the Kadee conversion instructions before altering the model. Check both front and tender coupler height, free movement and clearance. This is the smaller 1:32 No. 1-scale head, not the larger G-scale No. 791 version. Locomotive, tender and tools are not included.

Small hobby parts; intended for modelers ages 14 and older. Manufacturer warning: cancer and reproductive harm.
