Kadee 28 is the medium-centerset option in the HO 20-Series plastic-shank coupler range. It combines a standard-size head with a metal knuckle and separate centering springs, providing an insulated alternative for suitable No. 5-style installations.

Features and package contents

• Two pairs of No. 28 couplers.
• Includes two pairs each of No. 634 centering springs, No. 212 Talgo adapters, No. 213 gearboxes and No. 232 gearboxes.
• Supplied No. 213 bushings offer 0.055- and 0.100-inch inside diameters; two spare No. 622 knuckle springs are included.

Compatibility and installation

Select the gearbox, bushing or Talgo adapter appropriate to your specific model, then assemble and check height and clearance. Check Talgo coupler height before fully seating its adapter, which can be difficult to remove without damage. Suitable mounting screws, cars and height gauge are not supplied.
