Kadee 502 combines Bettendorf-style HO trucks with coupler platforms and No. 148 Whisker couplers. This pair is intended for compatible truck-mounted coupler installations, using 33-inch smooth-back wheels and fully sprung metal truck construction.

• One pair of assembled truck frames with metal sideframes and sprung bolsters.
• 33-inch prototype-diameter smooth back metal wheels; Code 110 wheel width.
• Nonmagnetic RP-25 wheels and contoured insulated axles.
• Uses No. 637 truck springs.
• Includes two No. 148 couplers, two gearboxes with lids, two 0-48 screws, two insulating bushings, two No. 209 washers and two No. 622 springs.

Compatibility and installation

Check the bolster, mounting clearance and ride height against your exact car. Mounting uses a suitable No. 2 or 2-56 screw; truck-mounting screws are not included. The couplers must be fitted to the truck platforms before use. Verify free truck movement, wheel gauge and coupler height after installation. Code 110 describes wheel width, not the required rail code.
