American Diorama Campers: Choose 1:18 Sets or 1:24 Figures for a Trailer Display

Choose Campers figures in the same scale as the vehicle and trailer you intend to display. The inspected 1:18 group supplies five people, while the linked 1:24 offers are individual figures. Neither format should be mistaken for an included trailer or campsite.
The most useful first decision is whether you need a group around an existing display or just one person beside a favorite model.

The 1:18 five-person Campers set
The Campers set, items 76334–76338, contains five hand-painted polyresin figures in 1:18 scale. The listing gives standing-figure heights of approximately four inches and identifies individual blister packaging.
It explicitly excludes the car and trailer shown. Buy the set when you want a group available for your own larger-scale scene, not because the product photograph looks like a complete camping package.
Before choosing five people, mark the positions where they would stand. A trailer and tow vehicle can already use most of a shelf’s length, leaving less room for a group than their compact online image suggests.
A single 1:18 camper can be enough
Campers Figure 1, AD76334, is also available individually in 1:18, with an approximate four-inch height.
A single figure is the more focused purchase when you want to show the scale of a vehicle without building a busy campsite. It also helps avoid buying a complete set when the other figures would remain unused.
1:24 singles for the smaller display
The 1:24 Campers Figure 1, 76434, is approximately three inches tall and described as hand-painted polyresin.
Other inspected 1:24 choices include Figure 3, AD76436, and Figure 4, 76437, also listed at approximately three inches. Choose the exact pictured poses needed for the scene rather than buying them solely to reach a particular people count.
Why 1:18 and 1:24 are not interchangeable
For the same real-world subject, 1:18 is one-third larger in linear dimensions than 1:24, calculated as 24 divided by 18. The four-inch and three-inch examples make that difference easy to see in the listings.
If your tow vehicle and trailer use different scales, adding a figure cannot correct the mismatch. Decide which model is the main subject and whether the combination is intentionally stylized. Do not assume a similarly sized product photograph establishes matching scale.
Check chairs, seating and trailer access separately
A figure being part of a camping line does not guarantee that it fits a particular chair, trailer doorway or interior seat. The selected pose, clear opening and available leg space all matter.
Only count accessories that the actual listing names. The five-person set’s count establishes five figures, not an unspecified package of a tent, chairs, table, car and trailer. Do not transfer background scenery from a photograph into the shopping list of included items.
Choose the smallest useful group
Start with one figure for a vehicle-focused shelf or the five-person 1:18 set for a scene designed around several people. Add another figure only when it has a clear place and does not block the trailer’s distinctive details.
