Look closely at the edge of the number panel and the red and blue areas around the doors. Small chips can blend into a busy livery. Ask for both sides of a loose car, plus a view across the rear wing; one clean side does not establish the condition of the other.
A sealed two-pack should show both miniatures clearly. Inspect the blister around each car and the card corners separately. Do not judge this release from the card artwork alone: the actual M3 sits in the right-hand compartment below it.
