2017 Hot Wheels ’67 Camaro DXB08
A Color Shifters Camaro with a black-to-blue body color change.
Release overview
DXB08 is the 2017 Color Shifters version of the retooled ’67 Camaro. Its black finish changes toward blue as the body warms. That color change distinguishes it from the static-finish Camaro Fifty releases and is why photos taken at different temperatures can look like different colors.
How to identify this release
Look for the retooled body, fixed hood, black-to-blue finish, and five-spoke wheels. The toy number DXB08 and Color Shifters line identify the release; a black Camaro body by itself does not.
Casting and physical details
The retool has a molded-shut hood, unlike the earlier opening-hood tooling. DXB08’s color-changing finish is its key physical trait. Record the temperature or color state when comparing photographs, and use wheel style and body details as additional checks.
Packaging and event context
The package identifies the Color Shifters line and DXB08. The release is separate from the original-tooling 31st Convention giveaway Camaros and from the 2017 Camaro Fifty series.
This guide uses catalog and event details that are documented for this release. Unlisted specifications are left open rather than inferred from a similar Camaro.
