Brown HCP39 gives Bear Devil its most animal-like finish. The pointed muzzle and small ears stand out against the brown body, with fish artwork along the sides. Red rims pick out the huge black wheels below the bear’s head.

A bear with three very different looks
This is the 2022 Beast Bashers release, shown as 5/6 in the series and 65/75 on the card. The yellow window piece and chrome-colored plastic base distinguish it from the two black editions. The package includes a blue crushable car beside the truck.

This release and its companions
Choosing one for your collection
Check the end of the muzzle and both ears for paint loss. The brown finish can make small chips easy to miss in a dim photograph; a clear side view also shows how much of the fish decoration remains.
For a loose example, inspect the red wheel rims and the bright base separately. For a sealed example, make sure the photo shows the actual truck as well as the front of the card, including the small crushable car.
Collector questions
Is this the same release as the black 2022 truck?
No. Brown HCP39 belongs to Beast Bashers. Black HCP66 is the X-Wreckers version, with skeleton-style graphics and light-blue wheels.
