1973 Honda Civic Custom Collector Guide
The Civic Custom packs a lot into a short body: widened arches, a low front end and prominent driving lights. The early green and orange cars keep the sides fairly clean; number 73 racing graphics arrive on the yellow and teal pair. Later releases range from a subdued burnt-red premium to a striped lilac Hot Ones car.

What to look for
Compare the actual miniature before the card illustration. The 2025 regular red JBB42 and Super Treasure Hunt JBC46 share a racing theme, but the finish and tires differ. The white Team Transport car has its own number 2 livery, while the pale-green Vintage Club release returns to a quieter road-car appearance.

Choosing one for your collection
Check the low front lip, driving lights and widened wheel arches. The short nose is exposed when cars are stored loose together, and bright paint can distract from scuffs on those edges.
For the tiny wheel designs, ask for a close side view with both wheels in focus. A larger car photo is often more useful than a picture dominated by the packaging.
Collector questions
Are the regular red and Super Treasure Hunt Civics interchangeable?
No. JBB42 is the regular red release with plastic wheels. JBC46 has Spectraflame red paint, Real Riders and a TH marking; match the complete combination.
