Are custom Hot Wheels factory releases?
Not when they have been modified after manufacture. Wheel swaps, repainting, polishing, and other aftermarket work should remain identified as custom work. A factory casting name that contains the word “Custom” is a different issue and does not automatically mean the individual car was modified later.
Do replacement wheels fit every 1:64 car?
No. Scale is only a starting point. Check wheel diameter, tire width, axle arrangement, inner-hub clearance, and the actual donor casting before ordering. Use the wheel and tire collection together with the measurements on the selected listing.
What is the difference between a finished custom and a DIY kit?
A finished custom is sold as a completed build. A DIY kit is a project starting point and may require separate wheels, tires, paint, tools, or other parts depending on the listing. Read the included-contents section before checkout.
