Identify the red-and-white truck

The Peterbilt Cement Mixer catalog records item 1169 with a black interior, unpainted Malaysia base and blackwall wheels. Earlier red Workhorses examples appear in 1980 and 1985. The numbered release is not the casting debut.

Drum condition needs its own photographs

Ask for the rear, both sides and a top view. Check drum edges, support points and any projecting pieces for cracks, glue or replacements. Ask the seller to describe normal movement without forcing an older component.

Look at the cab and chassis separately. A clean red cab does not make a truck with a repaired mixer complete and original. Request the underside and confirm whether the body was opened or parts exchanged.

A different mixer for a larger construction display

Separate offer: Diecast Masters 71062, a larger Kenworth mixer.

The Kenworth T880 concrete mixer is a finished 1:50 Diecast Masters model. Manufacturer, vehicle and scale differ from the Hot Wheels reference. Check the actual product page for dimensions, included details and current availability before choosing shelf space.

Loose truck or sealed package?

For a vintage loose purchase, compare all wheel faces and the way the truck rests on a level surface. For packaged examples, inspect the blister around the drum and chassis, the card reverse and every seal edge. Confirm that any package shown is included with the offered vehicle.

Retain photos and disclosures about repairs. A complete display model and an untouched factory collectible may be different purchases even when their appearance is similar.

Mixer questions

Does the larger model photograph identify #78?

No. It shows the separately offered Kenworth. It is not a vintage Peterbilt reference image.

How should an incomplete mixer be valued?

Compare similarly incomplete or repaired completed sales, not sealed examples. Match the casting and condition, and include shipping.
