Choosing one for your collection
On a loose Galaxie, look closely at the large door numbers and the lettering over the rear quarters. Scraped printing shows up clearly against the blue body. The projecting front corners and chrome-colored bumper are worth a second look before choosing a display example.
The white wheels are a good reason to ask for a photograph of the other side. Dirt in the wheel faces and chips in the surrounding blue paint can be much easier to see in a close side view than in a photograph taken from above.
