Choosing one for your collection
Look at the gray finish on the wheel faces and check that the rubber tires are seated evenly. On a loose example, ask for an underside photo as well as both sides; a wheel swap can change the look without changing the blue body.
For a carded car, inspect the lower blister edge and the corners of the white card. A clear front photo should show the 2/5 marking and the actual car, rather than only the larger illustration above it.

Can I tell HKD23 from the 2023 bundle car when both are loose?
Their published appearance is the same. The original single card identifies HKD23; without packaging or a reliable history, avoid treating a loose example as proven to come from one release rather than the other.
