Rapido Trains 158017A is an HO scale National Steel Car ballast hopper decorated for British Columbia Railway / BC Rail in the early green scheme.
The prototype-style hopper includes four bottom discharge chutes and is designed to represent the ballast-service cars introduced in the mid-1970s. Rapido equips the model with a removable ballast load, die-cast frame, factory-installed metal grab irons, coupler cut bars, air hoses, metal wheels and semi-scale metal couplers.
