The blue Factory Fresh companion
This is the blue 2021 GTB72 release, part of Factory Fresh and numbered 87/250. The paint has a metallic finish, so the shade changes noticeably between direct light and shadow. Look at the actual toy in the blister when checking color; the illustration above it is a separate piece of artwork.
The other 2021 GTO in this guide is Brazen Orange Metallic GRX32. Both have the restrained Factory Fresh treatment. If you prefer the GTO without large race graphics, these two are a sensible place to start. The later red, black, and ZAMAC cars give the same body a much busier appearance.

What to check before buying
On dark blue paint, scratches across the roof and hood can disappear in a head-on shot. A slightly angled photo helps show the surface without turning the whole car into a glare spot.
Inspect the front grille printing and wheel faces. The clean body treatment makes a missing patch of trim more noticeable than it would be on one of the heavily decorated Drag Strip versions.
Collector questions
Is Impulse Blue a wheel variation of the orange car?
It is a separate color release, GTB72. The paint is the most immediate difference, so keep its photos and description with the blue entry.
Does 87/250 mean only 250 were made?
No. That is the collector number within the year’s lineup, not a production total.
