The clean-looking first-year orange car
The orange GTO arrived in the 2021 Factory Fresh lineup, numbered 5/10 in the series and 87/250 overall. Its twin hood scoops and split Pontiac grille are easy to pick out against the metallic paint. With little side decoration to distract the eye, this version gives you a good look at the casting itself.
The blue GTB72 release shares the same 2021 series numbering. They make a straightforward pair on a shelf: the same basic treatment in two very different colors. The 2022 Drag Strip cars take another direction, covering the sides in racing graphics.

What to check before buying
Ask for a close-up of the hood and roof. Metallic orange can look clean in a bright photograph while small chips sit along the scoop edges or windshield surround.
Check the bright wheel faces as well as the paint. A rubbed rim is easy to miss in the blister. For a loose car, a side view will also show whether the axles sit straight and the body rests evenly.

This one is the 2021 Factory Fresh release, GRX32. The 2022 red car has a different finish and prominent racing decoration.
What makes the blue car worth a separate entry?
GTB72 uses Impulse Blue instead of orange. It keeps the cleaner Factory Fresh look, making the two useful color companions rather than duplicate photos of one release.
