In 1944 the Union Pacific got behind the war effort with its advertising. Promotional and patriotic posters like this were common across the country, but the complete story told by the nearly 2 dozen posters put out by Union Pacific are truly iconic. Whether you're a fan of the UP or US and WWII history, this series of cars is a must! Building off the first car offered in our Union Pacific Big Boy Set from the last catalog, we present the next 11 cars in our series, including nine PS-1 Boxcars with unique poster art and two additional special FreightSounds versions, also each with their own unique poster. We will finish this series in the next catalog with another 9 standard boxcars, 1 more sound car and special caboose. This train will look perfect behind any of your favorite Union Pacific power by itself or mixed with additional military rolling stock! Our three packs of PS-1 boxcars feature die-cast trucks, operating couplers with hidden tabs, opening doors and separately applied ladders and roof walks.Die-cast trucks and operating couplersEasy conversion to scale couplersOpening doors PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONSRail Line: Union PacificRoad Number: 194,404,194,405,194,000Gauge: O Gauge Min Curve: O31Dimensions: Length: 11 1/2" eachMost Recent Catalog: 2023 Volume II Catalog Note:…
