2005 Ford Mustang GT (1:87) Collector Guide
This Mustang GT is the 1:87 version, sold in a blue window box rather than the familiar mainline blister. The pearl-white car keeps its decoration quiet, with small silver GT lettering. The dark-red version adds black stripes across the top. Both use the same fine-spoked Y8 wheels.

Two colors in a smaller scale
The two documented releases belong to the 2007 Hot Wheels 1:87 Scale series: pearl-white L7165 and metalflake dark-red L7176. The model name refers to the 2005 Mustang, while 2007 is the release year. Their body shape and rear spoiler are shared, but the decoration and base finish differ. L7165 has a black plastic base; L7176 is cataloged with a chrome-colored plastic base.
