2010 Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake Collector Guide
The Super Snake keeps the Mustang’s long hood and short rear deck, then adds a prominent hood scoop and spoiler. Across these releases, the biggest differences are in the wheels, stripes and paint finish.

Start with the wheels and stripes
The blue debut arrived in 2011. Faster Than Ever versions followed in black and teal, then Asphalt Assault added green and white cars. Cool Classics used a brighter blue finish and Retro Slot wheels; later racing editions brought large side logos and numbers. Multipack versions often share paint and stripes with single-card cars but use different wheels. Later releases include camouflage, a red Factory 500 car and two ZAMAC editions with contrasting stripe colors.

Start with a side view. Ten spokes, angular FTE2 faces, PR5s and lace wheels can separate otherwise similar cars. Then compare the hood stripes, side graphics and lower-body color.

Does the casting’s 2010 name mean it was released in 2010?
No. The casting name refers to the car being modeled. The first Hot Wheels release covered here is the blue 2011 New Models car.
