3-Window ’34The wheels change the comparison
A red 3-Window ’34 with brown fenders can be easy to recognize and harder to date. Similar decoration crossed several releases, and both plastic-wheel and Real Riders examples exist. Turn the car over before deciding which one you are looking at.
Red body, brown fenders and roof lettering
The 1980 Hi-Rakers and 1981 Flying Colors records list a red car with brown fenders, roof decoration and a yellow trunk flame, using a Hong Kong base and blackwalls. The 1982 listing uses a Malaysia base.
Photograph the roof and trunk from above. Side pictures can make two cars look identical while hiding a rubbed flame or missing lettering.
Rubber tires deserve a closer look
The 1983 Real Riders listings include red finishes with gray hubs. Black flame-decorated Real Riders follow in the 1984 record, with gray and white hubs documented.
Inspect all four tires for splits, distortion or replacements. Hub color belongs in the description, but it cannot authenticate the entire car on its own. Keep the base country and finish in the same note.
Later graphics belong to later releases
The pictured turquoise car is the 2013 HW Showroom American Turbo release, with light-blue fenders and number 34 decoration. It is a different comparison from the early red-and-brown car.
A base copyright date is not enough to identify a particular paint release. Use the body, fenders, printing, wheel faces and packaging together, and leave an exact year open when the evidence does not settle it.

The aqua-chrome Speed Gleamer
The 1995 Speed Gleamer is collector #312 and number 1 of four in the series. Its aqua-chrome body, aqua fenders, blue-tinted windows and seven-spoke wheels separate it from the silver-flamed #257 released in the same year.
Compare the exposed engine, fender edges and roof reflections for rubbed plating or scratches. A bright surface can hide damage in a single photograph. The series name does not establish a production limit or make every chrome-looking 3-Window ’34 the same release.
