1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Collector Guide

These are the detailed gullwing-door releases. They should not be confused with other Hot Wheels 300 SL castings or the large Brick Shop building model. The blue car shown here is the small diecast included with that building set.

Ask for photos with both doors open and closed. Look for even panel gaps, intact hinges and undamaged mirrors; never force a door that feels stuck.
Check what comes with the car. Display covers, bases and outer boxes can go missing, and a loose model is not the same purchase as its original boxed presentation.
