1971 Plymouth Satellite Collector Guide
The Satellite gives each livery plenty of room: a broad hood, long doors and a wide rear quarter. The gold Brady Bunch car is the quiet one in this group. Taz, Wolverine, Butterfinger, flames and a mummy-themed Halloween car take the same body in much louder directions.

What to look for
Wheel construction is worth checking before grouping these together. The Stars & Stripes car uses five-spoke wheels and Halloween uses skull wheels; the other pictured releases have several Real Riders patterns. All seven have metal bases, so the underside alone does not tell the whole story.

Choosing one for your collection
Look along the hood scoop, front bumper corners and roof edges. Large side artwork can conceal a small scrape until you view it straight on.
Compare both sides when collecting character cars. A clean-looking photographed side does not establish the condition of the opposite artwork.
Collector questions
Are the two yellow cars the same release?
No. FKY22 carries Butterfinger decoration and blue-line tires. FYN94 has Wolverine artwork and gray eight-spoke Real Riders.
