Backwoods BombCamping slogans and a dragon
Backwoods Bomb combines a pickup with a tall white camper. The green example in the photograph has a yellow-and-red dragon running along the side and redline wheels. The light-blue version takes a different route, with Keep on Camping lettering instead of the dragon.
Blue camping truck, green dragon truck
The 1975 Flying Colors light-blue truck has yellow and light-green decoration, a black interior, a Hong Kong base and redline wheels. The reference distinguishes blue-tinted and other tinted glazing.
The green dragon version spans the later redline period. Sources assign it to 1976 or 1977, and the 1977 catalog records both redline and blackwall wheels. Describe the visible combination; a loose green truck needs more than its color to support a precise retail year.
The camper needs a complete view
Photograph the roof, rear wall and both window openings. Look for chipped corners, cracks, glue and missing sections. A side view may make a damaged camper look complete if the break is on the far wall.
Check the cab glazing beneath the camper overhang. Use soft light to separate scratches from reflections. Note yellowing of the white plastic separately from paint chips on the green or blue truck.

The dragon stretches across several body panels, so inspect the doors, rear wheel opening and bed side together. On the blue truck, make sure the camping lettering is legible rather than treating partly worn printing as another design.
Record replacements and repairs with the wheel style and base marking. A complete-looking truck still needs its own parts history.
