T-Bucket1995 release identification
The tall windshield and exposed engine make the T-Bucket easy to recognize. The 1995 Speed Gleamer is the dark metallic-purple version; its series name should not turn every part of the car into an assumed chrome finish.
Start with the series and item number
The Speed Gleamer T-Bucket is collector #313, item 13300, and number 2 of four in the series. The reference records metallic-purple bodies with several combinations of windshield tint, engine color, base finish and wheels.
Five-spoke and seven-spoke entries are documented. So are purple-tinted and clear windshields, and purple or blue engine details. These features need individual notes rather than a single generic specification.
Small color differences need better photographs
The carded reference identifies the presentation, but reflections across the exposed engine and windshield make fine color calls unreliable. Request an evenly lit close-up before claiming a particular combination.
The tall windshield is vulnerable to damage. Look at its top edge and mounting area without pressing or bending it. Check the engine and exhaust details for broken tips, glue or replacement pieces.
Look underneath the hot rod
A low side view can hide the axles and underside. Include both in a loose-car record, and distinguish a dark painted base from a tinted component using clear photographs.
When browsing loose Hot Wheels, judge the complete combination and disclosed repairs. An unusual-looking reflection is not enough to establish an uncommon variation.
