TurboaA snake-shaped Speed Demon
Turboa’s long, low body has a snake-like shape that is easy to recognize once you see the actual toy. The purple car pictured here is the 1995 Krackle Car, with bright crackle decoration and red-orange interior and engine details. Its card identifies it as number 2 of four cars in the series.
Yellow came before purple
Turboa entered the Speed Demons line in 1986. Early yellow cars have green markings and Ultra Hots wheels, with Hong Kong and Malaysia versions documented. Later yellow collector #155 entries include a different Hot Ones wheel style.
Record the wheel faces and country marking together. A familiar yellow body alone cannot distinguish the original Speed Demons package from a later numbered release.
The 1995 Krackle Car
Collector #281, item 13268, is the purple Krackle Car with bright red-orange crack patterns. Ultra Hots and seven-spoke wheel versions are documented. The photograph shows Ultra Hots.
Look at the Hot Wheels logo location and color as well as the crackle pattern. Record whether the metal underside is bare or painted silver. Do not substitute an assumed plastic base or a generic list of teal, red and blue variants for the actual combination in front of you.
Check the raised rear and long body
Inspect the raised rear section, the small exposed engine details and both ends of the body. A side view can hide chipped decoration on top, so keep an overhead photograph with the underside view.
The crackle design is printed decoration. Distinguish gaps in that pattern from actual cracks or repairs in the toy, and check all four wheel faces for replacement parts.
On a carded example, include the series banner and item number in the photograph. Compare carded collectibles separately from loose cars whose package history is unknown.
